  • 2 kg de guayabas
  • kg of brown sugar or panela

Recipe preparation

  1. First we wash the guavas well and calve them in half, discarding the asses.

  3. As soon as it boils, we put it on a low heat for 15 minutes and remove. Let it rest for another 15 minutes to cool.

  6. We add a splash of lemon and stir continuously without stopping during low heat for approximately 2 hours.

  7. We will see that it is thickening. We keep stirring until there is a thick mass.

  8. Finally we reserve in a container where we will place a transparent film so that it does not stick. We let it rest overnight until the next day.

  9. After approximately 12 hours we can unmold and we have the guava paste ready
