Ingredients

  • peaches or peaches
  • 250 grams Maria cookies
  • 100 grams butter
  • 30 grams brown sugar or pan
  • 500 grams white cottage cheese
  • natural yogurt
  • 100 grams sugar
  • 1/2 lemon
  • egg whites
  • hojas gelatina
  • mint leaves (optional)

Recipe preparation

  1. The first step is to drain the white cottage cheese well. I leave it overnight in the fridge.

  2. We start by crushing the Maria cookies. Mix with the butter and brown sugar or brown sugar until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

  3. The next step is to butter the mold or individual molds, add the biscuit base and cool in the fridge.

  4. We hydrate the gelatin sheets with water. Follow the gelatin manufacturer’s instructions.

  5. In the next step we mix the well drained cottage cheese with the natural yogurt with half the sugar. We can add the lemon zest.

  6. We mount the egg whites to the point of snow with the remaining sugar and add it with the gelatin to the previous mixture, stirring until we have a homogeneous cream.

  7. In the last step we add the cream in the reserved mold or molds with the cookie base and chill in the refrigerator for at least 6 hours so that the cream takes consistency.

  8. We pit, peel and chop the fresh seasonal peaches and mix them with the lemon juice. We reserve in the fridge.

  9. Finally, remove from the mold and add the chopped peaches on top of the cream. Serve very cold.

Recipe Notes

Optionally, it can be decorated with mint leaves as in the photo.

Gelatin, cheese and the other ingredients can easily be found in our usual supermarket.
