All about the Detox

The detox diet not only serves to eliminate toxins from the body but also to lose weight. It is a plan that helps you lose a couple of extra pounds in two or three days.

This type of detox diet to lose weight can only be done for days at most and repeated after 15 days. It is a plan that includes five meals a day and some foods such as fruits and vegetables can be eaten raw.

It is also allowed to cook food steamed, in papillote or in the oven but above all things it is necessary to avoid cooking such as fried, battered or breaded, in addition to pickled or preserved foods that contain many calories.

In the detox diet to lose weight you can take dairy such as soy milk, skim milk and yogurt and the most important thing is to have a snack between meals that can be a fresh fruit (watermelon, pineapple, kiwi, grapefruit, orange).

If you are hungry during the day, you can include a whole wheat toast, but always about two hours before lunch or dinner.

Hydration is an important issue and therefore the recommendation is to drink at least two liters of water a day, or also tea and other infusions without sugar, limiting the use of salt as much as possible.
